MAARGA

The brand name "Maarga" originates from the Latgalian language, combining Latgalian identity with international potential. The word "Mārga" in Latgalian means "a girl of marriageable age" — a figure embodying a young, independent, creative, and feminine personality. It symbolizes the brand's growth and development.

Mārga dances through the colors of Latgale's meadows and forests, giving them a second life on our fabrics. In the Puša parish of Rēzekne region, we create eco-printed products with great care and respect for nature, using only plants and flowers from Latgale. Each piece of fabric is a unique work of art, embodying the region's natural diversity and beauty.

Our work reflects authenticity and sustainability — we use environmentally friendly methods that maintain harmony between people and nature. Each product is handmade, making it unique and personal. By supporting the local community, we help strengthen Latgale's cultural heritage and economy while creating a sustainable future.

Our brand is rooted in ancient dyeing techniques with a modern interpretation. The dyeing process uses tannin-rich leaves, flowers, fruit and vegetable peels, spices, and other natural treasures, giving the fabric stunning shades, textures, and imprints.
